There is no minimum or maximum commitment to days booked per week or holiday camp. Please note that this is a separate camp and therefore does not benefit from other offers.

About the Programme
The Young Leaders programme is designed to give children in year 9 at school, and above, the opportunity to gain vital work experience in the childcare and coaching sectors while enjoying themselves in a safe environment. For parents this is an opportunity to ensure the summer holidays aren't wasted and their child is gaining valuable experience which should help them in later life.
Our coaches will nurture the Young Leaders and pass on their knowledge of best practice and will as giving them resources to self-learn and evaluate.
About the Camp
How it works
The Young Leaders will be given a notebook which they can use to write down all the tips they pick up from the coaches. These tips vary from use of language, controlling tone and pitch to delivering sessions and conditioned games within a sport. Before each Young Leader finishes their notebook will be assessed and combined with the practical notes made by their coach. These will form our assessment which in turn can be used by our Young Leaders as a reference for later work experience or employment.
We have a maximum of 6 spaces per day and these will be given on a first come first served basis.
Children can continue to coach with us until they are 18, after this point they may wish to join us as a full member of staff.
Participants will spend their day with the coaches ion small groups working with the younger age groups of the main multi-activity camp. A portion of the day will be used to assist the coaches lead sessions and gain experience and tips on best practice. A portion of the day will be spent with our coaches evaluating and preparing sessions. The remaining sections of the day will be used to have some fun and play some of more popular sports like dodgeball and/or get involved with the main camp activities.
Booking and payment
Please read the following to assist you completing the booking form:
1) Complete all of your details ensuring your email address is correct
2) Select the dates and extras you require (extras can be added at a later date)
3) Submit the form to be directed to PayPal where you will pay a £10 non-refundable deposit per child.
4) Either sign in to PayPal or pay as a guest on debit/credit card. If you are not directed to PayPal or have problems completing the purchase please contact us as your booking will not be complete
5) The team will be in contact with you over the next few of days to confirm your details
